ADN' CKRYSTALL is Érick Moncollin (aka Dr. Strange), an artist from France and truly a pioneer in electronic music since the mid-70's. Already in 1976, he was jamming with Vangelis and Tim Blake in Paris, and he was also testing the KORG MS20 in its flat prototype version (and is still owning and using a MS10 prototype today!). In 1982, he released his first album "Jazz'mad" which definitely is in Anna's Top-5-electronic-music-albums list. The unique weirdness and brilliance of this album is unequalled and a class of its own. Érick never stopped playing and recording electronic music, but, of course, styles changed over the years. In late 2006, "Jazz'mad" was nearing its 25 years anniversary, and thus Anna Logue Records asked Érick if he wasn't interested in recording a sister album to it - in "Jazz'mad" style, of course Érick enthusiastically agreed. "Minilab" is a worthy companion to "Jazz'mad" and no-one into minimal electronics shall miss out on it.

Erick "CKrystall" Moncollin AKA Dr. Strange is active in art from the late 70's until today. In 1982 he released his first album Jazz Mad which is an undisputed masterpiece of electronic music. The 7" vinyl EP is accompanied by a mini CD containing the same tracks. To emphasize his 30 year activity in art in 2007 he decided to finalize the drawing of a poster he started in 1977. Way back in 1982 after their first demo tape was no reason for two record companies to give them a record deal, the members of Ensemble Pittoresque invested into more equipment to record and release their first album themselves. In November 1982 they gathered all their songs, idea's and equipment to start recording in a squatted monumental building in Wassenaar called Huize Rijksdorp. Clogsontronics released this what later would became their best known record in the beginning of 1983. Called For This Is Past, the album title also refers to Störung's This Is Future album. Now 25 years later this collectors item is re-released in the new Clogsontronics format as Vinyl + CD in one package. The package features a Hansaboard sleeve with glued-on picture, inner sleeve with lyrics and credits as well as two "HoSuMuKu Collective" stickers. The original mastertape was used. With minor sound enhancements and pressed on 180 grams vinyl as well as offered on CD the quality of the re-issue clearly surpasses the original release from 1983. First released in 1982 as SG002, Clogsontronics has re-released the Störung album 'This Is Future'. The original mastertape still in perfect condition has been used for this re-release. Carefully some minor corrections were applied to make it sound like it should have compared to the original pressing. Clogsontronics presents this product in a new concept: A release both on vinyl and CD in one package. The buyer gets the art and analog feeling of the vinyl as well as the convenience and technical quality of the CD. For best results the vinyl was cut using the DMM cutting process and pressed on 180 grams vinyl. Also included in the package are 2 stickers similar to the ones the band used for promotion back in the old days. The release is limited to 700 hand number stamped copies (matched numbers for both vinyl and CD) with lyrics and credits on the inner sleeve.

Two great and long lost tracks on 7 inch vinyl: 'Europe Calls' and 'Radio Lines'. Europe Calls is previously unreleased and described as a "minimal dancefloor killer"! This album was originally submitted to Polydor (NL) in 1982, but they didn't find it commercial enough, and asked the band to come up with some material for a single release instead. Ensemble Pittoresque decided that they didn't want to compromise, and thus went on to release recordings on their own Clogsontronics label. The songs have been restored and mastered from the original tape, presented here as an LP entitled "The Art of Being". The music speaks for itself. With impeccable song writing, and heartfelt vocals; there is a true timeless feel to their music. Limited to 500 numbered copies with insert, 180 gram vinyl.

Störung released this CD on Clogsontronics in June 2007. It contains two versions of a brain-draining track called 'INDUCTION - the Enochian Remix'. A minimal, industrial and electronic track recorded in 1999, edited and mastered in 2007. The CD also contains two previously unreleased tracks recorded live in 1983. These tracks reflect Störung's interpretation of the Cold War era: 'Warschau Pact' and 'Sovjets Don't Dance'. The amazing artwork completes the production and this results in a unique and timeless package.
